Join us for a special screening of The Chosen, Season 4, Episodes 1 & 2.
In a joint effort of First Fruits Ministries and Calvary Chapel, our church organizations have obtained licensing to show "The Chosen," Season 4, episodes 1-4, and we will be screening the films together in May leading up to the public launch of Season 4 on "The Chosen" app later in the month or early June.
We will screen "The Chosen," Season 4, Episode 1 & 2 starting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday May 7 and Episodes 3 & 4 at 7 p.m. on Tuesday May 14 at 60 Bailey Ave., Manchester, NH in the sanctuary. We will provide popcorn and water. The episodes will be followed by a discussion on the episodes and how they compare and differ from Scripture and how we should represent Scripture to Chosen fans who may not know the LORD.
We hope for this joint effort to be a bridge-building opportunity for all congregants who attend Christian services at 60 Bailey Ave. in Manchester, NH., and perhaps an opportunity to welcome in members of the public with an interest in learning more about the LORD in a more casual environment than a church service might provide.
We recognize there are things that people don't like about "The Chosen," and we share some of those concerns. By no means are we condoning "The Chosen" as "Gospel truth." Rather, we are looking at the screening of this theatrical production as a door for discussion and dialogue about our LORD and savior Yeshua, who is living and powerful, risen and powerful, and reigning from His throne in Heaven forever and ever.
"The Chosen" Seasons 4, Episodes 5-8 will not be available via our church license and will be available on the app for all people starting in 5 to 7 weeks, according to The Chosen producers.
