THE CHINA HUMAN RIGHTS FAIR | Rayburn Foyer

In honor of International Human Rights Day, we cordially invite you to attend the China Human Rights Advocacy Fair on December 10 in Rayburn Foyer.

During this unprecedented daylong event, experts from at least 10 organizations representing diverse communities and victims of rights abuses in China—as well as targets of transnational repression in the United States—will be present to share their latest research, answer questions, and engage informally with Members of Congress and staff.

Taking place from 8:30AM to 3:30PM, the event is as an opportunity for Members and staff to gain additional insight into the latest developments in China, updates on the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) influence in the United States, and to express solidarity with those suffering persecution at the hands of China’s authoritarian regime on International Human Rights Day.

Community and international organizations representing a diverse array of diaspora and at-risk groups in China and within the United States, including Chinese dissidents, Falun Gong practitioners, Uyghurs, Tibetans, Christians, Hong Kongers, Inner Mongolians and others.

• Survivors of persecution in China and victims of transnational repression abroad.
• Human-rights organizations and research institutes with cutting edge updates on grassroots dynamics happening in China and CCP foreign influence.
• Policy analysts with expertise on religious freedom, forced labor, ethnic minorities, human rights, transnational repression, censorship/surveillance, and national security.

Each group will have a table that attendees can approach to receive printed materials or ask questions at any time throughout the day. No RSVP required. Optional 20-minute slots are also available for a guided walkthrough for Members/senior staff.
