About this Event
The Carol Capps Pink Walk is held to raise awareness of breast cancer in our community and the importance of getting annual screenings. Carol Capps began the Pink Walk many years ago, and Calvert Area Development Association carries on her legacy of recognizing and raising up individuals fighting the fight, survivors, and remembering those we've lost.
The event will be held at the Calvert City Civic Center on October 11 from 9 AM - 11 AM. We will have a silent auction and some wonderful prizes donated by local businesses.
If you are a survivor or currently being treated for breast cancer, please join us on October 11 at 9:00 a.m. for a ceremony of remembrance and celebration.
Calvert Area Development Association (CADA) is now accepting prizes for giveaways.
Signs for βIn Memoryβ and βIn Honorβ are on sale for $5.
Please have all forms submitted by September 19. Forms can be mailed to the Calvert Area Development Association at PO Box 968 or complete the Event Bright Registration.
Shirts are also available for purchase. The long-sleeve t-shirts are $30 and the short-sleeve t-shirts are $20.
100% of the proceeds from the event will go towards Kentucky Cancer Link. Kentucky Cancer Link funds many Kentuckians struggling with cancer. Whether it be a wig, a cancer screening, or another need during a cancer diagnosis, they are here to help.
