About this Event
The Carlito's Wish Foundation (CWF) was formed to grant wishes to children suffering from life-threatening illnesses of families in financial need (deprived socio-economic condition).
By providing such assistance, CWF is dedicated to bringing some happiness into the lives of these children.
Carlos M. L. Ottley, also known as Carlito, was the eldest child of Carlos and Mercedes Ottley. After a long battle with leukemia, Carlito died at the age of twelve on October 30, 1992. Carlito was a happy, friendly and giving person. He delighted in other people’s happiness and his family and friends thought it befitting to honor his life and his great spirit by forming a foundation that did just that, make other children happy. In remembrance of Carlito, his parents, family, and friends founded The Carlito’s Wish Foundation (CWF) in April 1994.
