You're invited to an Earth Week celebration!The Waco Youth Council and City of Waco Office of Sustainability and Resiliency will host the Care for Waco Carnival from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 at the Doris Miller Community Center, 1020 Elm Ave., Ste. 800L.
This free, family-friendly event will feature free food from Mac's Fry House, treats from Kona Ice, music, carnival games, crafts, a vendor market, face painting and more.
Attendees will also be able to check out all the fun booths showcasing topics on composting, clean air and energy, water conservation, recycling and other sustainable matters.
