MEDIA RELEASE: 14/10/25THE CAPE TOWN JAZZATHON 2026 - A SUMMER SHOWCASE
Celebrating its 29th anniversary as South Africa's longest-running music festival, The Cape Town Jazzathon 2026 will take place from January 9 to 11, at the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre.
The Cape Town Jazzathon features three days of free live performances by emerging and established artists across diverse genres such as Afro Jazz, Cape Jazz, Hip Hop, and Neo Soul.
Produced by JCQ PRODUCTIONS and funded by The Department of Sports Arts & Culture’s MGE (Mzanzi Golden Economy) and The Department of Cultural Affairs & Sport, The Cape Town Jazzathon, is expected to be one of the most exciting since its inception.
The Festival offers entertainment daily from noon to 8 pm, with the lineup and updates available on [www.jazzathon.co.za](http://www.jazzathon.co.za) and social media under @jazzathon.
