Spilled Ink Staged Readings encourages non-traditional casting.
The Camel's Hump Adventurer's Guild is inspired by popular shows like CRITICAL ROLE and DIMENSION 20, and the succesful Off-Broadway and touring production THE TWENTY-SIDED TAVERN.
No previous acting, improv, or experience with Dungeons & Dragons and Roleplaying Games is required. We are seeking individuals with:
~Quick wits
~Boundless Imagination
~Open to Fearless Experimentation (on stage people... get your minds out of the gutter... honestly...)
~Not afraid to look like an idiot in front of an audience (I do it every day, you get used to it pretty quickly...)
THE CAMEL'S HUMP (as it shall henceforth be referred to) will consist of four linked D&D adventures on stage at Camel City Playhouse, with audience participation, fun games, adventure, math rocks, a box of costumes, hats, and wigs and all of your favorite D&D and fantasy tropes, wrapped up in a world saving plot by professional Games Master and local writer/actor/producer, THE ROB OF WONDER (aka Rob Taylor) of EYE WONDER ARTISTRY & GAMES.
January 18th from 12pm to 2pm at Camel City Playhouse, 110 7th St W, Winston-Salem, NC
Performance dates have yet to be set, but will be approximately quarterly during 2026, probably during weekend afternoons, and probably beginning in February.
