About this Event
Cure EB’s Butterfly Run is a celebration of inclusivity taking place at the Olympic Park in London on Sunday 24th September 2023.
We are encouraging as many people of all abilities to run, walk, wheel, or whatever you can do to complete a 1k, 5k or 10k race.
Please note:
- The 10k race is open to anyone age 13 and over
- The 5k race and 1k fun run are open to all ages.
- Entry for the 1k fun run is per race number only; so if you are only running alongside your child to support them, you do not need to buy an additional entry.
All entrants will receive a Butterfly Run race t-shirt, race number, time chip, and finisher medal.
Click on the orange button to buy your tickets.
We would love you to join our campaign to help cure EB - donate or create your own fundraising page
EB families, please contact [email protected] for more information on EB Family Day.
Why Butterfly Run?
Cure EB funds medical research to find a cure for epidermolysis bullosa (EB), a severe genetic skin condition that leads to blistering and skin loss at the slightest friction. Children with the condition are often referred to as 'Butterfly Children' as their skin said to be as 'fragile as a butterfly's wings'.
What we want most is for children and adults to fly free from the pain of EB and make the blisters and wounds stop.
