MICHAEL MONCADA ~ Country Rock&Roll
Iowa native, this 44 year old singer songwriter burst onto the scene July 2017. By Feb 2018 he had performed at venues in 3 states, and formed his band Michael Moncada & Whiskey High. From there 2018 closed with 250 shows under his belt, earning him Best New Music Lister, Top 40 Nationally, and #1 Regionally with ReverbNation.
June 2023 he was signed to Winter Records Nashville and his first single Walk No Line charted top 20 nationally 3 weeks later. The single went on to hold top 10 and #1 spots for 15wks. Jan 2024 he released his second single Whiskey Weather. In 3 short years he has earned nominations for KBOE Iowa Country Artist of the year (2018, 2019, 2020).
June 2025 he recorded his third single Take The Cap Off at SAE NASHVILLE, with 2X Grammy winner Matt Leigh and 2023 Josie Award winner Grayson. This new single is set to release to country radio and all major platforms by end of summer 2025.
He has provided direct support for Brett Young, Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Aaron Tippin, Colin Raye, Sammy Kershaw, Casey Donahew,
