If you enjoy your blues traditional, powerful and with a twist of boogie, then we have just the gig for you when The Bush Pilots visit JJJ on Sunday 29th September in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.The band comprises Gary Harper (vocals and guitar) and Rich Shelton (bass) - both of whom many of you will know from the excellent Vincent Flatts Final Drive - along with legendary drummer Tony Baylis (drums) who has played with a veritable 'who's who' of top local bands and musicians over the years. Each member has worked with many artists on the scene and create a traditional rhythm and blues sound.
The band will be performing numbers from legendary blues Kings; Freddie, Albert and BB, as well as some other quality R&B players in what will be a great gig from a group of top musicians, and it's all for a good cause too ... what's not to like?
