The Half Moon in Putney, London, is one of the longest running and most respected live music venues. The venue has hosted live music since 1963. Some of the biggest names in popular music have played at the Half Moon, including The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Small Faces, The Rutles, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Alexis Korner, The Yardbirds, Van Morrison, The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band, The Pretty Things, The Nashville Teens, Elvis Costello, Steve Marriott, Nick Cave, Bo Diddley, U2, and even Kate Bush's first public performance was here!
