The UK's only community reggae orchestra celebrating the culture and music of the Caribbean is heading to Under the Edge Arts in February. As well as popular reggae classics, they perform works created by orchestra members, including new Jamaican inspired works and innovative fusions, such as Sudanese and Persian reggae.The Bristol Reggae Orchestra are a 30-piece orchestra with traditional set-up; strings, woodwind, brass, rhythm, percussion They perform regularly at festivals and leading venues in Bristol, the South-West and Wales, promoting the work of local artists and collaborating with national and international performers, including our Patron, Gary Crosby (OBE) as well as Denis Rollins, the late Abram Wilson, Melanie Marshall, & Nathaniel Facey.
At Glastonbury Festival, 2023, on special invitation of the Eavis family, they opened the Pyramid Stage to celebrate 75 years of Windrush
