The Breathing Effect began in 2013, as two lifelong friends (Eli Goss & Harry Terrell) embarked on a journey of songwriting and sonic experimentation. Over the last decade their palette has evolved in step with an ever-changing world, but their dedication to heartfelt music has stayed constant. After 6 genre-defying LP’s and 8 years of indelible live performances, The Breathing Effect stands tall as a musical legacy.
Eli & Harry, the band’s 6th LP, is a musical self-portrait, a faithful reflection of the duo’s musical identity. The drum tones are rich, the soundscapes are vast, and the song forms are inventive. The hard-hitting grooves are infectous, and the dense, dynamic arrangements challenge listeners to form a personal relationship with the songs. Eli & Harry will be released via Alpha Pup Records on August 4, 2023.
