Estudiantina of Melbourne is largely drawn together by the enormous enthusiasm of Con Kalamaras for the music of Greece.
In this performance, they enjoy the opportunity of inviting Elsa Mouratidou to join them as a special guest. Elsa has studied music in the region of her birth, Thessaloniki, in the Ayia Triada Children’s Choir and later furthered her vocal training with Eleni Mihalopoulou, Spyros Sakkas, Savina Yannatou, and Michael Marmarinos. A multifaceted performer, Elsa blends Greek tradition with contemporary musical elements,
making her a versatile and tantalising performer.
