The Boozy Book Fair returns! Join us on Thursday, July 18th from 5pm to 8pm at Morley's Backyard for an evening of books, music, food, and fun. There are special activities on tap as we welcome special guest Uplift Performing Arts from Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland — Danville’s Sister City! Their amazing performers will be in town to run ShamROCK camp at West T Hill Theatre and they've agreed to do some mini performances or us. They're fabulous humans and you'll love meeting them.
We’ll also cheer the publication of “Wild About You”, a new YA romance by KY author Kaitlyn Hill, who will be on hand to sign your copy. In this delightful novel, a group of college kids take on the reality show Wild Adventures (think Amazing Race/Survivor but on the Appalachian Trail) where the winners get a $100,000 scholarship to the college of their choice. Two total opposites. One race through the Great Outdoors. In this grumpy-sunshine teen romance, the trail to true love doesn't always come with a map.
As always, we're partnering with the Centre College Bookstore again for this event, so there will be plenty of books for all ages. The Farmers Kitchen at Morley's will be open for all your dining needs. Morley's is a family-friendly establishment! Alcohol is optional and sobriety is embraced and respected.
