Participants: 40-50 Tournament is open entry to Public: $120 Entry Fee, or free with the Hotel Promotion For the guests that book at Moody Gardens Hotel for a minimum of a two night bookings, also they get free raffle tickets for the door prizes, and we will have pizes for the best golf shots during the Juneteenth Golf Tournament at Moody Gardens. Also tickets to my poetry events around Galveston for Juneteenth Weekend.

Info: One of the purposes of the event is to help the city of Galveston promote their annual Juneteenth festivities, with a family fun event that will bring a wide range of diverse people together for competition. With it also being Father's Day Weekend; this event is Taylor Made for a gift to a father who loves golf. This event will help increase the advertisement for Juneteenth Weekend as an adventure into the black history of golf players while having fun learning the sport.
