The Blow-ins make gentle acoustic music with Celtic harp, guitar and voices. Based in Scarborough, they have played together since they met in 2012. They’re known for original, high- quality folk music which has been enjoyed in folk clubs, festivals, concerts and on local radio. In 2024 they won the coveted Songwriting award at the Great North Folk Festival with their song ‘The Hounds of Heaven’. From mesmerizing instrumental duets to full-blown chorus songs, a musical journey with the Blow-ins will take you from ancient legends to contemporary protest with quiet humour and powerful emotion.
