In celebration of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals, we will hold the annual blessing of the pets in St. John’s garden. If rain is predicted, we will have a canopy. Bring your fine furry or feathered friends (or even reptilian ones) on leashes or in carriers, please. If your pet tends to be aggressive or anxious, you may bring a picture, toy, blanket, or other representation.
We encourage you to bring a donation to the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association. A QR code to sponsor the adoptions fees of an animal will also be available.
