Lake Charles, it’s time to turn back the clock! The Blanks are making their long-awaited return to the stage at Crying Eagle on Friday, March 15th, bringing back the energy and nostalgia of ‘90s alternative rock.Formed in the early ‘90s by a group of McNeese State University students, The Blanks quickly became a staple in the local music scene, playing everywhere from Lake Charles to Baton Rouge. Along the way, they shared the stage with legends like Cowboy Mouth, David Allen Coe, and Jerry Jeff Walker—all while keeping the party alive with their signature alt-rock sound.
Fronted by longtime friends John Ieyoub, Stewart Clayton, Mike Crawford, and Sean Gardiner, The Blanks deliver a set packed with Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Matchbox 20, Better Than Ezra, and more—the soundtrack to a generation.
