Calling All Edward Waters University Students, Faculty, and Alumni!!! Black Films Matter is hosting an advance screening of the new horror-comedy film “The Blackening” exclusively for Edward Waters University at Cinemark Jacksonville Atlantic at 7:30pm on June 8.
The Blackening centers around a group of Black friends who reunite for a Juneteenth weekend getaway only to find themselves trapped in a remote cabin with a twisted killer. Forced to play by his rules, the friends soon realize this ain’t no motherf****** game.
This is an opportunity to claim First Come, First Serve passes to see the film early. Seating is not guaranteed, and arriving early is strongly encouraged. After submitting your RSVP here, you will receive a link via email to claim passes for you and your guests to attend the film on June 8th.
This screening will be filmed; attendance will signify your consent to being recorded.
