About this Event
Welcome to The Black Script Tour with The Writers Guild Foundation!
Join us for an evening of creativity and inspiration at the WGF Shavelson-Webb Library.
This in-person event will take place on Fri, February 21, 2024 at 6:00 PM PDT.
Get ready to hone your craft alongside fellow writers and industry professionals with a private tour of the space with a focus on Black TV shows that have transformed television.
Plus, writers will have a chance to receive insight from TV writer, Jonterri Gadson (EVERYBODY STILL HATES CHRIS, FOX's GOING DUTCH, Netflix’s THE UPSHAWS, HBO’S A BLACK LADY SKETCH SHOW) to learn TV industry basics and hear her story.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn and grow as a writer. Space is limited!
See you there!

Because we know starting out in the industry can be challenging and that the film community has been hit hard at this time, we are making this event pay-what-you-can. All proceeds will go toward The HiveMind Unified to keep our effort afloat. As a small arts initiative of MC Gran Productions, we depend on donations to run our pay-what-you-can events & workshops.
Thank you for making whatever contribution is possible for you right now.
By signing up for this event, you will join the The HiveMind Unified community and receive occasional emails for future free and pay-what-you-can events.

The HiveMind Unified focuses on entry-level professionals . However, the global exchange of self-guided learning, networking, and material is available to service anyone at any stage of their career.
The HiveMind is a small arts initiative of MC Gran Productions, an Entertainment company that creates content with a focus on highlighting underrepresented voices across TV, film, and digital platforms.
