The Black Student Union cordially invites you to attend the Fifth Annual Black Excellence Ball: A Black Tie Affair.

The Black Excellence Ball is a formal awards ceremony dedicated to honoring achievement, leadership, creativity, and impact within the Black community at Bowling Green State University and beyond. This distinguished evening serves as a space to formally recognize those whose excellence, commitment, and influence continue to shape culture, uplift community, and set a standard for those who follow.

Inspired by the prestige of the world’s most celebrated award ceremonies, the Black Excellence Ball will feature live award presentations, curated production, and an elevated black tie atmosphere designed to honor both legacy and the future. Guests will experience an evening of recognition, artistry, and celebration that reflects the depth, brilliance, and excellence of Black achievement.

This event is not simply a gathering, but a formal declaration of excellence. It is a moment to honor those who lead with intention, create with purpose, and leave a lasting imprint on our campus and our community.

Formal attire is required.
