Join us for our adoption event at The Black Dog Nantucket from 10:00AM-1:00PM"The Black Dog is excited to once again announce that the month of September as Doggie Adoption Month. We are teaming up with local animal shelters throughout our hometowns to help find homes for adoptable dogs. A shelter representative will visit our General Stores with several dogs for a meet & greet, the first step towards finding each dog a loving family.
The Black Dog will donate 20% of its total sales made during the day of the event to the visiting shelter. We have also provided each shelter with unique Black Dog Doggie starter kits featuring a selection of Black Dog treats, toys, and exclusive offers to give each dog's new adopted family when they bring their new pup home.
Finding homes for these rescue dogs is a mission close to our roots. Our namesake, Black Dog, was a rescue pup herself and many of our own crew members have rescue dogs as part of their families."
