We're curating a gallery that explores the concept of BLACK LUX - not as material wealth, but as the richness of our stories, our families, our culture, our survival, our imagination, and our artistic expression.
The core question of the gallery: What "Black Luxuries" are afforded to us as a Black Artist?
What’s present in our experiences; our memories, our rituals, our families, and our struggle that make our expression more layered, more necessary, more BLACK? Those are the stories and imagines we are highlighting.
👕 DRESS CODE:
Monochrome Energy Only.
Wear all black, all white, or a clean combo.
If you can’t commit to full monochrome, make sure one piece of your clothing is black or white. Keep the taste level high.
