The Helping Hands Toy drive will be December 9th. at 944 West Bay drive or the BBEA clubhouse - block of the Old Villa. Monica, We are thankful they agreed to host the venue again.
We help thousands of kids year-round on zero funds . The hospitality of the general community is essential ..To that point ,it would be helpful if you can drop a couple of dollars on the PayPal link to assist with supplies, distribution and children's wish lists for things we don't get in, that they dream of. through out the year.
We understand there is another dismal holiday season forecast . Because of all of you the Helping Hands doesn't pay that assertion attention.

We ask that you first, go through your crowded shelves for new toys that your children never played with, birthday doubles and seek great re-gifts. . Provide tender loving care by decorating them with ribbon, candy cane, cards etc. or your own loving touch . The kids line up to see Santa Claus one time so if the gift is not prepared well they will miss out.till next year. We give ideas of filling gift bags, tote bags, backpacks, decorated lunch bags and pocketbooks with an assortment of similar items .These are gift baskets for the children and the moms and dads that may need a little pick me up..
Think about getting your kids to collect socks, gloves, decorate lunch bags for catch-alls for smaller items we get to make them look more festive. Homemade gifts are great too. Children that are looking for community service credit can do this. You can reach out to me and even offer your own ideas of how you believe you can bless the local children .
We will be needing help to sort, decorate and pack Santa's sleigh. Girl scout troops, religious ed. Classes, the bus stop, your Sunday dinner family guests can get together and donate an afternoon collecting, preparing and contributing to our drive. We pride ourselves that we cater to the poorest on Long Island.
It would be great to make food baskets of non-perishable items for Christmas and Thanksgiving dinner. You can contact me about that on Facebook.
I believe folks are appreciating tradition a lot more these days and the Helping Hands is a wonderful Christmas and all year round tradition to participate in. I believe it'll change your Christmas as much as it will change theirs. Thank you.
God bless you..
