To the Greatest Generation, THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES (1946) holds a special place, encapsulating the hopes and hardships of all those who served this country during World War II. Myrna Loy, Fredric March (in an Academy Award-winning performance), Dana Andrews, Teresa Wright, Virginia Mayo, and Harold Russell (the only actor to ever win two Academy Awards for the same role) star in this story of servicemen and their families readjusting to life after the war. Directed by William Wyler, the film was a winner of nine Academy Awards including Best Motion Picture.Organist Jay Warren will perform the pre-show music at 6:30 PM.
