About this Event
Speaker: Roni Berenson, who escaped Berlin with her parents in 1941, organized a trip in June 2024 to commemorate four relatives killed by the Nazis with Stolpersteine in Berlin. Roni, along with eleven family members, experienced an emotional and memorable week, and she will discuss the trip in December with other family members sharing their perspectives.
Please RSVP by December 23.
JSC is changing our format to an Oneg Shabbat (instead of dinner). We will have dessert, nuts, coffee, wine, juice and challah. The Mandel JCC is a kosher facility and does not permit people to bring in their own non-kosher food, plates, cups or serving utensils. The program will be from 7pm - 9 pm.
JSC Guest Policy: We love having guests join us! Guests are welcome to attend two complimentary events (lifetime). After that, the fee is $20 per Shabbat. Please pay via Eventbrite. Fees paid may be credited towards an annual JSC membership. Interested in becoming a member? Learn more and sign up here. We appreciate your patience as we acclimate to our new home at the Mandel JCC.
Directions: Enter the JCC campus from S. Woodland. Rd. As you pull into the driveway, follow the signs for Stonehill Auditorium which is on the left side of the building, past the Early Childhood Entrance. Park in the lot on the left across from the entrance. *The doors at the front of the building will be locked.
