The Believe Preschool 2 Literacy Lab at Urban League Head Start Peter Bunce

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis and St. Louis Black Authors of Children’s Literature celebrates the opening of the Believe Preschool 2 Literacy Lab at Urban League Head Start Peter H. Bunce Water Tower Center during the National Week of the Child, Wednesday, April 3, 2024, 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., 2125 Bissell Street, St. Louis, MO 63107.

The Believe Preschool 2 Literacy Lab at Urban League Head Start Peter H. Bunce Water Tower Center marks the second of The Believe Projects® literacy labs to open in a preschool setting. Believe Preschool 2 will provide children ages 0-5 years with access to more than 1,000 books written by Black, Latinx, and Indigenous authors. The new Literacy Lab will be a positive learning environment that encourages creative expression and supports children in building the vocabulary and listening skills needed to be ready for kindergarten.
