The Bee Keepers Children's Picnic

Children will enjoy a delicious picnic at Urban Pantry (a new pop up food experience), while learning about honeybees from a local award-winning beekeeper, Hanna from Hanna’s Bees. Hanna will talk about life as a beekeeper and guide you through the fascinating process of how honey is made! Meet some of Hanna’s Native Irish Honey Bees up close and personal in a glass-walled hive, engage in bee-themed colouring activities, and discover how you can help our native bees and other pollinators. A Q&A session with Hanna will give kids an opportunity to have all their bee and honey questions answered. Every child will also receive a small gift.
