What happens when we open ourselves to what we really long for? Behind all our plans and dreams, we can find the same basic human needs. Needs such as nurturance, community, belonging, freedom, autonomy, meaning, efficiency or play, to name but a few.
In this course, you are invited to join others in an exploration to get clarity around which needs are really important to you.
We explore how empathic listening for needs can bring moments of clarity, realness and connection. Connecting to your needs can also help to point you where in the world you want to go next, and how you want to express that to others.
This course builds on the needs awareness of Nonviolent Communication, and also serves as an introduction to that approach.
The course takes place in Nära's workshop space in Malmö. Coffee/tea and a small refreshment is included in the price. You are also welcome to either take part of a light lunch being served, or bring your own food.�
About the facilitator: I've long worked with communication in different ways, as a journalist and a radio host, and as a teacher at a university and in adult education. I've been into Nonviolent Communication for seven years, and attended three year long programmes on the subject.

Language: Instructions in English. In the different sharing exercises, you are invited to use the language that works best between you.
