The City of El Paso’s Capital Improvement Department invites the community to the pre-construction community meeting for The Beast Urban Park Phase II (formerly known as Eastside Regional Park).At the meeting, the public will be able to review the construction schedule for the project, and ask City staff questions about the project. The second phase of the $15 million enhancement to this existing park, will include the following services and amenities:
Four (4) softball fields including dugout shelters, ten (10) pickleball courts, two (2) handball courts, two (2) sand volleyball courts, two (2) basketball courts, bleachers, bike racks, additional parking, food truck parking, sidewalks, landscaping, irrigation systems, shade canopies, fencing and restrooms.
The first phase of The Beast Urban Park, which is already complete, included the construction of a recreation facility with an indoor 50-meter pool, a new water park and a surfing machine.
Development of The Beast Urban Park is part of the City’s commitment to enhance El Paso’s quality of life through the creation of recreational, cultural and educational environments.
