The Krewe of Mad Hatters isn’t your ordinary parade – it’s a wonderland of music, dance, and dazzling performances, reimagining the story of Alice in Wonderland through floats, dance troupes, bands, and the wild and whimsical Kolossos Bike Zoo!
🌊 Who are the Bearded Oysters?
Founded in 2004 by artist and environmentalist Katrina Brees, “The Mother Shucker”, the Bearded Oysters Dance Troupe parades to celebrate creativity, community, and radical self-expression – all while raising awareness for Louisiana’s coastline. We embrace:
