About this Event

We live in one of the most environmentally progressive regions in one of the most climate-conscious states. Still, radical changes in federal policies could kneecap policies to confront climate change through better buildings, transportation infrastructure, and food systems.

Leaders from the public and private sector will join us to discuss how they’re preparing for the next four years. We’ll ask:

  • How far can changing federal policies impact local and state efforts to reduce carbon emissions, adapt to a changing climate, and protect biodiversity?
  • What are public and private sector actors doing to protect progress and push for a more equitable and inclusive climate movement?
  • How might changes in federal policy impact efforts to protect the Bay Area’s public spaces and biodiversity?

Attendees will learn about key local and state efforts to keep focused on climate change    – and how they can best participate.
