The Battle (Powered by The Mater Private Hospital Townsville) is a community participation obstacle racing event held along and through the iconic Strand and Jezzine Barracks on the Townsville Foreshore. The Battle (Powered by The Mater Private Hospital Townsville) is open to people of all shapes and sizes and all levels of fitness over the age of 14. Dirty Kids (Powered by The Mater Private Hospital Townsville) is a slightly dialled down version modified for Kids aged between 7 and 14.
Challenge yourself, race your mates and have a heap of fun through the 3/5km course whilst negotiating a series of fun and challenging obstacles designed to test participants agility, strength, fitness and endurance. For those keen enough for a dead set race an Elite Male and Female wave will lead the charge as they compete for the inaugural title of King and Queen of The Battle.
Starting and finishing at Strand Park on Sunday 15th August, get ready for a heap of fun and action!
