This class will cover the basics of reading contracts, including the meaning of common contract clauses and how to translate legal terms into plain English. Attendees will practice contract reading using real-life examples, and learn when and how to negotiate contract terms, tips, and techniques to ensure a thorough understanding of the agreement, and when business owners generally can or should ask for help from a legal professional.
