About this Event
A parent workshop for expecting or new parents. Learn about infant car seat safety, safe sleep practices and connect to resources. Informational course with possibility of distribution of items. All participants must preregister to attend and if items are needed please email us after registration.
No walk-ins.
Requirements:
- Registration required for all participants to “The basics on baby safety workshop”.
- Limited items for distribution please state in registration email if car seat and/or crib is needed.
- One distribution per baby.
- Must participate in all 3 hours.

Infant Car Seats:
Must be at least 27 weeks of gestation, or baby is in the NICU. Hospital documentation with current gestation or estimated due date, or NICU status, and photo identification.
Portable Cribs:
Must be at least 27 weeks of gestation, or baby is between 0 to 6 months. Hospital documentation with current gestation or estimated due date, or NICU status, or baby’s birth certificate, and photo identification.
On-site resources: Nurse Family Partnership, Newborn Home Visiting Program, Doula sign up through the Citywide Doula Initiative, and more.
