About this Event
The Bar Council’s Pupillage Fair is the only recruitment fair run by the Bar for the Bar of the future. This event will give you the chance to engage with practising barristers, find out about their work and gain insight into what a career at the Bar involves.
Sponsored by the Council of the Inns of Court and supported by the Specialist Bar Associations.
This year's Pupillage Fair will take place at etc. venues, 133 Houndsditch, Liverpool Street, London, on Saturday 15 October 2022.
At the Pupillage Fair, aspiring barristers can:
- Visit over 80 exhibitors from a wide range of pupillage providers and experts from across the Bar
- Get advice on CVs and applications at our CV clinic
- Find out more about funding and support
- Hear from practising barristers on their experience at the Bar
In the week leading up to the fair we will be hosting a series of online seminars from Tuesday 11th - Thursday 13th October. You will be able to hear what life is like as a barrister working in different areas of practice and find out about joining the Bar as a career changer or an applicant with a disability.

Tickets for the exhibition have specified arrival times for Saturday 15th October (10am, 11am and 12pm), please ensure you select the correct ticket type for your desired arrival time, should you arrive at the exhibition before the time specified on your ticket you may not be granted entry.
Access to the online seminar programme taking place between Tuesday 11th and Thursday 13th October is included with all ticket types. You can also register for the online seminar programme only, this ticket does not include entry to the exhibition on Saturday 15th October.
