In November 2023 a 50 person musical ensemble from all across Northern New Jersey came together to recreate one of the most revered & hailed concert film & album of all time. Not only as a tribute to legendary Americana Roots Rock pioneer Robbie Robertson's life & career but as a fundraiser for a local 501C3 Non-Profit called Toni's Kitchen. With the event selling out 8 days prior to the event it manage to raise $3000.00 for their holiday season.
On Saturday November 16th live from Montclair Art Museum's Leir Hall (3 South Mountain Ave. Montclair NJ) back by popular demand The Band's Last Waltz returns. This year's tribute to this Thanksgiving tradition will be even bigger & better with now a 75 plus ensemble from all over Northern NJ. In association with over 20 plus sponsors once again this production will help raise funds for Toni's Kitchen. Featuring but not limited to Mark Bowers Ed Alstrom TK Walker Band Big Mamou The Fabulous Flemtones & many more.
Toni’s Kitchen is a food ministry of St Luke’s Episcopal Church in Montclair NJ.
Their goal is to ensure reliable access to healthy food for residents of West Orange Montclair and Bloomfield. Toni's provides food to those in need in ways that respect their dignity improve health and foster independence.
