THE BAND BEYOND DESCRIPTION presents A TRIBUTE TO DICKEY BETTS

Gary Campus (The Deadbeats)

Scott Guberman (Phil & Friends, Live Dead and Brothers, Gilmore Project)

David Lee (Moody Cat)

Sean Lehe (Jelly Bread, Poor Mans Whiskey, Grateful Bluegrass Boys)

Johnny Mojo (Achilles Wheel)

Danny Roholt (Moody Cat)

We’ve all boogied in the shadow cast by The Allman Brothers Band. Whether playing the blues, a funky soul tune, some good old country music or a jazz-rock epic, the ABB were always in the groove, deeply honest and authentic.

With the recent passing of guitarist Dickey Betts The Band Beyond Description, your local purveyors of Grateful Dead inspired monthly jams, has decided to come together outside of the cozy confines of the Crazy Horse and celebrate the music of the Allman Brothers Band and Dickey Betts.

Johnny Mojo and Gary Campus have enlisted the help of Mr. Scott Gubernan on the keyboards, and the Sean Lehe Trio to fill out this 6-piece band. Sean has been a regular with bands such as Jelly Bread, Poor Man’s Whiskey and the Grateful Bluegrass Boys, while David Lee and Danny Roholt have been meowing folks down in local jamband Moody Cat. Expect the “group mind” to be easy access with this inspiring group of players.

“ I’ve been an ABB fan since I was a teenager. The 2 drummers riffing/ two guitars playing lead lines. They just blew me away. Sean and I have been wanting to do a project together for a long time. When Dickey died we called on each other and said “we have to put together a band and do a tribute”.

- Gary Campus, (co-founder Band Beyond Description and The Deadbeats)
