Let's be honest, becoming a parent is the best thing in the world, but the social life can take a hit. The days of listening to great music, having a drink, and dancing with your mates can feel like a distant memory.
Welcome to The Baby Beats Collective. We're here to change that.
Founded by new parents, for new parents, this is your weekly space to feel like yourself again. It’s a place to meet a community of like-minded mums and dads, listen to tunes you actually love, and have a dance, all with your little one in tow.
What to Expect at our Weekly Session:
We've created the ultimate baby-friendly clubbing experience. It's all the fun of a day out, with none of the stress.
- The Music - Forget nursery rhymes. Our resident and guest DJs will be spinning a parent-friendly mix of house, disco, soul, funk, and classic feel-good anthems. The volume is kept at a safe and comfortable level for little ears, so everyone can enjoy the tunes without it being overwhelming.
- A Truly Baby-Friendly Venue - We've made sure the venue is 100% accessible. No stairs means easy access for prams, and there's plenty of space to park your buggy and move around on the dance floor.
- All The Essentials, Covered - We have dedicated, clean, and easy-to-access baby changing facilities. Need a quiet moment? Our chill-out zone is a comfortable space for feeding, napping, or just taking a little break from the beats.
- Food & Drink for Grown-Ups - Our bar is fully stocked with soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages (including our famous mum-friendly spirit measures!). We'll also have a selection of delicious food and snacks available from the snack bar next door to buy to keep your energy up.
- Fun Surprises Every Week! To keep things fresh, we'll have something new each week! From themed events and fun competitions (best dad-dancer, anyone?) to special guests, there's always a new reason to come back and join the fun.
Who is this for?
- Parents and carers with babies aged 0-24months together with their siblings of any age and children under 6.
- Anyone who wants to get out of the house, socialise, and listen to something other than Hickory Dickory Dock.
- Mums, Dads, Grandparents, Carers - everyone is welcome!
The Practical Stuff:
- WHEN: Every Monday, 11:00am - 2:00pm. This is a drop-in session, so feel free to arrive and leave whenever suits you and your baby's routine.
- WHERE: Volks Terrace, 3 Madeira Drive, Brighton, BN2 1PS.
- TICKETS: Booking in advance via Eventbrite is highly recommended to guarantee your spot and get a discount! A limited number of tickets may be available on the door, subject to capacity.

A bit about us...
We're Zoe & Oliver, a local Brighton couple and proud new parents of Mabel. We launched The Baby Beats Collective because it's something we desperately wanted for ourselves. A place where we could still enjoy the music and culture we love, but in an environment that was genuinely welcoming for our baby. We believe that parenting is better when you're not doing it alone and that a bit of dancing can solve almost anything. Come and join our collective!
