20th Anniversary Party!
Punk Rock Konzert in der HALLE
Anlässlich ihres 20. Bandjubiläums kommen The Baboon Show erneut auf ausgedehnte Europatournee: “Fans and friends! The Baboon Show have been touring and releasing music for 20 years now. We want to celebrate this with a big 20th anniversary party next year together with all of you and special guests. We will bring a bigger, better super intense show in bigger venues and we will also go to places we’ve hardly or never been to before”, sagen sie, was wir ausdrücklich begrüßen möchten. Auch wenn wir dem Stockholmer Punkrock-Quartett um Sängerin Cecilia Boström tatsächlich schon zum vierten Mal den roten Teppich ausrollen! Ihr weiterhin jüngstes Album, das sie gemeinsam mit Johan Gustafsson, dem Bassisten von The Hives, produziert haben – es ist ihr wiederum zehntes –, trägt den peacigen Titel „God Bless You All“. Sind sie etwa religiös geworden? Auf keinen Fall! Im Gegenteil, auch weiterhin hinterfragen The Baboon Show Autoritäten und Ungerechtigkeiten, egal in welcher Form sie auftreten. Ein schönes Motto zum Jubiläum ist es aber allemal. Skippen wir noch einmal zurück zum O-Ton: “Let’s make it at least 20 more, starting with next year’s biggest party on planet Earth!” Da sind wir, die wir wiederum unser 30. Jubiläum feiern, logischerweise gerne dabei! In diesem Sinne: Auf die nächsten 20, 30 Jahre! Komplett wird die Party durch Bad Cop Bad Cop aus San Pedro, Blood Command aus Bergen und den Britpunkern The Meffs.
