THE AXE JAZZ CLUBFollowing the success of our opening event in July, the Axe Jazz Club returns to Ringstead!
Featuring musicians from Midlands favourites, The Fourmasons, this new monthly session will celebrate all eras of great jazz music, including tunes by the likes of Charlie Parker, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, Tom Jobim, Sonny Rollins and many more! Jazz standards, ballads and all of your Latin American favourites. There will even be floor spots for local musicians to guest with the band!
This August's session features special guest, Cliff Brown on guitar.
The Axe Jazz Club is (almost!) every last Saturday of the month from 8.30pm at The Axe & Compass, 14 Carlow Road, Ringstead. NN14 4DW. Admission is free!
