Our Saturday Saunters are leisurely strolls for anyone who would like to walk at an easy pace with a group of individuals in the same boat. This may be due to rehabilitation, ongoing illness / injuries, or just general fitness. Children are welcome, too.This one is a family-friendly trail of approx. 3 miles, easy walking. From the historic village of Wycoller we'll head up to visit The Atom; one of East Lancashire's 4 panopticons (sculptures). Time will be built in to explore the ruins of the hall and look for fairy doors. Paths are well maintained but there is a short climb up to the Atom involved in this walk.
As with all Abigail's Trails, this is a small-group guided walk led by a professional Mountain Leader. Spaces are limited and cost £7.50 per person (£5 per child).
