The Asthmatix collectively have recorded and toured with a diverse range of renowned artists including Dereb The Ambassador, Oyobi, Lulo Reinhardt, Monsieur Camembert and Mocky amongst many others. This group however stands apart from these myriad projects and explores another musical realm in which all and any kinds of sounds are possible.
The Asthmatix released their first EP 'Go Team Go' in 2011 to widespread critical acclaim which included the 7β vinyl βLatkeβ, and are releasing their more than 10 years in production full length album 'Abacus Earthling', recorded and produced in both Australia and Europe.
Support on the night is from the one and only On The Stoop, another genre bending outfit variously described as a cross between Mariachi, Balkan, New-Orleans swing, Spaghetti-Western, Cabaret, Film-Score, Cumbia and Punk-Rock.
