Join us for a night of memorable plays by award-winning, Boston-based Asian American playwrights at Playfest 7 - you won't want to miss it!
About this Event

The Asian American Playwright Collective (AAPC) is all-volunteer group of playwrights based in the Boston area who have banded together to raise awareness about the breadth and depth of new work by theatre artists who are informed by a complex and multi-layered identity, but who also just happen to be Asian American. The moniker of the group belies an ongoing, paradoxical effort to be recognized for the kinds of unique stories seen through a multi-faceted lens of ethnicity that we are almost expected to write, but also to break beyond the easy categorization imposed by racialized identity politics and to be seen simply as a group of American playwrights who write compelling plays. The annual AAPC Playfest has provided an opportunity for AAPC works to be seen by the general public.

The AAPC Playfest 7 will feature 8 new works by our member Asian American and Pacific Islander playwrights.
