About this Event
As You Are: Neurodivergent Women’s Workshop
Join us for Day 6 of the 16 Days of Activism as we present our Tuwezeshe Social Action Project with FORWARD UK.
If you are diagnosed, exploring your neurodivergence, or supporting a loved one, find a space where you can be seen, heard, and celebrated. Together, we will build a sisterhood grounded in understanding, joy, and mutual support, while raising awareness of neurodivergence in underrepresented communities.
This session also marks the launch of Melanin Minds Unmasked, a community initiative creating ongoing spaces for connection, storytelling, and shared empowerment among neurodivergent women from the global majority. Through this event, we aim to spark conversations and connections that will continue to grow long after the workshop ends.
Expect creativity and connection, along with practical tools for self-care, empowerment, and community wellbeing. Plus, enjoy delicious free food and refreshments as we gather to honour our stories and strengths.
Our Aims:
· Create a safe, culturally grounded space for women from the global majority to share lived experiences of Neurodivergence.
