About this Event

Join us for an object handling session and uncover the amazing arte'facts' of Roman Essex, as part of City Day at Southend Central Museum.

Our arte'fact' sessions are a special guided look through some of Southend Museum's Roman items, and a rare chance to get hands on with history.

The handling sessions last approximatly 40 minutes, and while tickets are free, prebooking is still reccomended to guarantee a place.

The session is suitable for ages 7+. Children under the age of 7 will not be admitted.

The Education Room, in which the sessions are being held, is on the first floor of Southend Central Museum. Unfortunately, due to the age of the building there is no lift or step free access to the first floor.
