Larry Schultz students Amber Jean-Marie and Amme unite to bring you an authentic rocket experience. Larry created the rocket and was king of a good time and being mischievous. This workshop will honor Larrys senses of humor and playfulness.
Everything in life has a sequence from the most basic things like waking up to going to bed, to the sequences of the months and changing seasons.
Beginning with a rocket warmup followed by partner exercises, this workshop is open to everyone and will use a mixed level practice to explore creative sequencing and how we might use the sequences in our practice on the mat to live our lives “off the mat”. We’ll use elbow stands will paired with shoulder openers and handstands paired with abdominal strength exercises, plus forward and backward bending before winding down with deep stretches.
Rocket founder Larry Schultz encouraged students to find their own inner teacher, and this practice will allow you to explore the rocket philosophy to help you connect with your personal vision and to manifest your goals. The physical practice will lead into meditation to help you to contemplate your own daily sequences and rituals that will help you to open up that vision, encouraging you to embrace your gifts, relish your potential and trust in yourself.
