“Hello, my name is Cory Michaud and I am a yoga therapist and nervous system regulation guide originally from Jupiter, FL. For the past 5 years I have been learning and training in Asia.
Join me for a 5-week intensive workshop designed to reconnect your mind and body while deepening your understanding of the nervous system.
In The Art of Slowing Down, we’ll explore the power of alignment yoga, breath work, meditation, and mindfulness exercises to experience the profound benefits of slowing down and regulating our nervous system.
This workshop is alignment-focused, meaning we’ll take time to break down each posture, discuss proper alignment, explore the benefits, and use props to support your practice.
We’ll dive into topics like the nervous system, limbic system, and how they relate to common issues such as stress, anxiety, headaches, and lower back pain—all often linked to chronic stress.
Over the course of five weeks, we’ll unravel the connection between alignment, nervous system regulation, and chronic pain, empowering you with practical tools to enhance your well-being.
