Join award-winning artist, illustrator and clinical art therapist (AthR) Sally Ann Conwell for a 6 week journey through the foundations of drawing. More than just learning to draw, this course explores the art of seeing—training your eye to notice detail, light, tonal value, form, and movement in ways that will deepen your creative expression across all mediums.
We’ll observe some of the psychology behind ‘seeing;’ What enables or hinders us to truly observe the world around us, so we can draw and create with even greater sensitivity and accuracy.
This course is designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced artists looking to refine their practice. Sally provides take home materials and exercises to continue your learning through out the course.
Sally has illustrated for Virgin Australia, SBS, Kit Kat, Nespresso, BMW and many more. Sally has been teaching art and illustration across numerous institutions, community colleges, schools, TAFES and workshops for over 14 years.
